What have we been doing with our time at Brighton Travelworld.
What have we been doing with our time  ??

An Update from Julie Avery: 26 March 2020
Dear Valued Customers.

Believe it or not we're busier than ever, although not for the right reasons.

Our days are filled with multitudes of components to be cancelled for client’s bookings.

It’s not just the Flight bookings, it’s the Hotels, Cruise, Tours, Transfers, and Sightseeing tours.

It’s interpreting each airline’s individual cancellation rules – no two airlines are the same!
  • Is it fully refundable?
  • Is there a waiver?
  • Can the ticket be used at a later date?
  • When will the validity of the ticket expire?
As you may know it's impossible to “talk” to any airline so we communicate via a direct communication link that often gives us instant answers.

We’re also helping many people who did not book with a travel agent, and who are unable to get advice on the tickets they purchased online etc. !

We’ve had great success to date with refunding Non-Refundable hotels for clients departing in March and April. If the Travel ban continues we will then work on obtaining refunds for our May/ June /July departures. Please be patient whilst we work through in departure date order.

Generally our clients, airlines, and suppliers have been amazingly supportive, patient, and appreciative of all we're doing. So that is very rewarding for the Team.

We're very happy to say that of the 12 clients stuck around the world in lock down as borders close, we now have 8 home, 2 more due home tomorrow and 4 more by 1st April - if no more restrictions are imposed. We’re keeping in daily contact and they're appreciative, and as calm as one can be.

Below I've included a few little comments from our clients that are bringing smiles to our faces.

This was just a short note as it is time to get back to assisting our clients. So until the next update - "Stay Safe".

PLEASE NOTE: Our office is currently Open and we will still be operating by eMail and Phone if a complete shutdown is declared.

Julie Avery
